BRAIDS FOR DAYS & BRIDES FOR DAYSWEBSITE TERMS & CONDITIONSThese Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made with Braids For Days and Brides For Days, including bridal hairstyling, intimate weddings, Down South weddings, event hairstyling and braiding appointments.By signing a proposal, paying a deposit or otherwise confirming an appointment, the client agrees to the applicable terms below.Bridal clients will also receive detailed Terms and Conditions within their booking proposal. Where more specific terms are contained in a signed proposal, those terms will apply to that booking.1. Deposits and Booking ConfirmationA 50% deposit is required to secure all bookings.Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable where the client cancels, changes their mind or requests to move the appointment to another date.A requested date or appointment is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received and, for bridal bookings, the proposal has been signed.Deposits contribute towards reserving the appointment date and time, administration, staffing and associated business costs.If Braids For Days or Brides For Days is unable to fulfil the confirmed booking, the provisions under Stylist Unavailability below will apply.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.2. PaymentsThe remaining balance must be paid by the due date and using the payment method specified on the client’s invoice, proposal or booking confirmation.For bridal bookings, the payment requirements will be outlined in the signed proposal and invoice.For braiding and event hairstyling appointments, the remaining balance is due on the appointment date unless otherwise agreed in writing.Failure to pay an amount by the required due date may result in the booking being cancelled and the deposit forfeited.3. Client Cancellations and Date ChangesIf the client cancels a booking, the deposit will be forfeited.Deposits and confirmed bookings cannot be transferred to another:DatePersonAppointmentServiceBooking typeA request to move an appointment or wedding to another date will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.Any new booking will be subject to availability, current pricing and a new deposit where applicable.4. Bridal BookingsBridal services are offered through package pricing based on the selected package and the maximum number of people included.Package inclusions and pricing will be outlined in the client’s proposal.Changes to the number of people, getting-ready location, required completion time, staffing or scope of services are subject to availability. Changes may require a package upgrade or revised proposal at the rates current at the time of amendment.Reductions made within 90 days of the wedding date will not reduce the total package price.Perth Metro bookings commencing before 5:30 am incur a $100 early-start surcharge unless otherwise stated in the proposal. Down South packages are exempt where travel, accommodation and associated expenses are already included.Bridal Hair TrialsOne bridal hair trial for the bride is included in each bridal package unless otherwise stated.Trials are held at Audra’s Leeming studio and include clip-in extension hire when requested, suitable and available.The client must contact Brides For Days to arrange the trial no later than eight weeks before the wedding date. Appointment availability cannot be guaranteed where the client contacts Brides For Days after this deadline.Inclusion of a trial does not guarantee a particular date, time, evening or weekend appointment.Once confirmed, the included trial is allocated to that specific date and time and is non-transferable.If the client cancels, requests to move the trial or fails to attend, the included trial will be forfeited. A replacement trial will be treated as a new booking, subject to availability and a $150 rebooking fee payable before confirmation.An unused or forfeited trial cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for a refund, credit or reduction to the bridal package price.5. Braiding and Event Hairstyling AppointmentsBraiding and event hairstyling appointments are booked for a specific service, date and allocated appointment time.Any requested changes are subject to availability and current pricing. Additional services cannot be guaranteed on the appointment date unless arranged in advance.Late ArrivalsClients arriving more than 10 minutes late may be required to select a shorter or modified hairstyle that can be completed within the remaining appointment time.Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled. In this situation, the deposit will be forfeited.The full booked service price may remain payable where the appointment must be shortened because of the client’s late arrival.Missed AppointmentsIf a client does not attend their confirmed appointment, the deposit will be forfeited.Future appointments may require full payment in advance or may be declined at the discretion of Braids For Days.6. Stylist UnavailabilityIf Braids For Days or Brides For Days is unable to attend a bridal booking due to illness, injury, emergency or another unforeseen circumstance, reasonable efforts will be made to source a suitably qualified replacement stylist.If a suitable replacement cannot be found, or the bridal client chooses not to proceed with the replacement offered, payments made for services that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded.Replacement stylists are not generally sourced for individual braiding or event hairstyling appointments. If Braids For Days cancels one of these appointments and cannot provide the service, payments made for the cancelled service will be refunded.Braids For Days and Brides For Days are not responsible for indirect or additional costs beyond the amount paid for the affected services, subject to Australian Consumer Law.7. Circumstances Beyond Reasonable ControlBraids For Days and Brides For Days are not liable for delays or an inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including emergencies, severe weather, road closures, major traffic disruptions, government restrictions or venue access issues.Where reasonably possible, alternative arrangements will be discussed with the client.8. Client ResponsibilitiesClients are responsible for:Providing complete and accurate booking informationAdvising of requested changes as early as possibleArriving on time and ready for the appointmentFollowing all hair preparation instructionsDisclosing relevant information about hair length, colour, condition and extensionsEnsuring the selected hairstyle is consistent with the stylist’s services and portfolioSupplying any desired hairpieces, flowers, veils or accessoriesFor bridal bookings, the client must also ensure that all members of the bridal party are ready at their allocated styling time and that an appropriate working area is provided with adequate space, lighting, seating and access to power.Late arrivals, unprepared hair or unavailable clients may affect what can be completed within the scheduled appointment time.Blow-dries and blow-waves are not offered as standalone services.9. Clip-In Extension HireProfessional-quality human hair clip-in extensions are available for bridal clients when requested, suitable and available.Clip-in hire for the bride is included at the bridal trial and wedding unless otherwise stated in the proposal.A $150 refundable bond applies.Extensions must be returned within 48 hours after the wedding unless another timeframe is agreed in writing. They must be returned complete, in their original condition and without cutting, colouring, toning, alteration or damage.Late, damaged, altered or incomplete returns may result in partial or full forfeiture of the bond. Repair or replacement costs exceeding the bond may be invoiced to the client.Exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed. Clients must provide clear and current photographs of their hair and disclose any colour changes made after extension matching or the bridal trial.10. Hair Accessories and Additional ServicesHairpieces, flowers, veils and accessories are not supplied unless expressly stated. Suitable items provided by the client may be installed during the appointment.Any travel charges, early-start fees, additional services or other applicable costs will be disclosed before the booking is confirmed or outlined in the client’s proposal.11. Agreement to These TermsBy signing a proposal, paying a deposit or confirming an appointment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.Any exception or variation must be agreed to in writing by Braids For Days or Brides For Days.
