Braids For Days – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, including bridal hairstyling, elopements, and braiding appointments. By paying your deposit, you agree to these terms.
1. Deposits & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstance except if Braids For Days cancels the appointment.
The remaining balance for bridal bookings is due on the wedding day with cash or via bank transfer in advance with proof of payment.
The remaining balance for braiding appointments is due on the day of the appointment with cash or card (you must bring your physical bank card, pay i.d is not available).
Minimum Spend:
Bridal Group Bookings: $780 (includes travel)
Elopements (1 person, Mon-Wed only): $360
Braiding Appointments: No minimum spend, set price per service
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a client cancels or reschedules, the deposit is forfeited as the appointment date has been held and other bookings may have been turned away.
If Braids For Days cancels an appointment, the deposit will be refunded or credited toward a future booking.
Government-Enforced Lockdowns: If a lockdown or restriction is put in place that prevents Braids For Days from operating, deposits may be transferred to a new date within 12 months of the original booking.
3. Bridal Booking Terms
Any changes to a bridal booking (adding people, adjusting travel, etc.) will be charged at the current rate at the time of the change.
Bridal Trials are optional but recommended 3-6 months before the wedding and are charged at the current rate at the time of booking.
If Braids For Days is unable to attend a bridal booking, every effort will be made to source a replacement stylist. If no suitable replacement is found or the client declines a replacement, the deposit will be refunded.
4. Braiding Appointment Terms
Late Arrival Policy:
Clients who are more than 10 minutes late will have to choose a shorter style to fit within the booked timeframe.
Clients who are more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment canceled, and the deposit forfeited.
No-Shows:
If a client does not attend their appointment, the deposit is forfeited, and future bookings may not be accepted.
If Braids for Days Cancels:
If Braids For Days cancels a braiding appointment, the deposit will be refunded or credited toward a future booking.
Braids For Days does not source replacement stylists for braiding appointments.
5. Additional Fees & Add-Ons
Travel Fee for Mobile Bookings: A flat rate of $150 applies within 50 km of the studio. Additional travel is calculated per kilometre.
Hollywood Waves: Additional $40 per person and requires an extra 30 minutes.
Clip-in Extensions: $60 hire fee + $150 refundable bond.
Early Start Fee: $100 surcharge applies for start times before 7:00 AM.
6. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking details, including the number of people and travel location.
Clients are expected to arrive on time and prepared for their appointment.
For bridal bookings, bridesmaids should have an idea of their chosen style before the appointment to ensure a smooth and efficient schedule.
Final Note
Deposits do not only partially cover your booking; they assist in covering the costs of running a business, administration, and lost opportunities from holding your date.
